A few things...

On my time "off" (away from painting) I have done a few things for some friends.

This was a Christmas present for Miss Lexi Ryan
My son wants me to paint his stool like this so bad!  He has a Cars obsession!
I have yet to do it...

This abstract went in baby Beau's nursery along with the B canvas.
I also made a huge burlap wall hanging for baby Beau's big brother Wit.

This thing was almost 48" wide!

I'm also working on a burlap cupcake for a friends' son's 1st birthday.

I have gotten so many emails through Pinterest!  Mostly about the Christmas decor and wanting a tutorial or info on what I used.  A tutorial would take forever to do.  I will eventually post a list of materials that I used for my door.
I have also gotten emails asking when I will take orders again.  And the answer is "I'm not sure".  It's hard to find time with two small children to even do the small things that I have for my friends.  With spring/summer coming up, I expect to be spending lots of time with my family.  It has gotten to the point where I don't really enjoy painting as much as I used to.  It feels like "work" to me know and that's something I never wanted to happen.  So, I'm still on a break until further notice.   As for now I am enjoying my littles while they are still little!
But thank you all so much for the support and following!!!

No Longer Taking Orders

I unfortunately will no longer be taking orders until further notice.  It has just proved too difficult at this time to take care of a newborn and a toddler and still put 100% into my work.  I've had overwhelming response to my Christmas decor/wreaths thanks to Pinterest.  I hate having to turn down orders, but it's something I have to do at this time.  Hopefully I will  be able to return to painting and designing soon.  I really thought I would be able to do it all, but as of now I need to concentrate solely on being a mother and a wife.

I will still be posting some of my work as I still have a few orders I am working on for Christmas.
Thank you all for your support!

Pinterest Project/Idea-Yarn wreath for Cooper

I saw some yarn wreaths on Pinterest and thought it would be cute for my friend Melissa and baby Cooper on the way.  She wanted something simple and modern to hang on their door when he arrives.  I did the wreath in her nursery colors (which I LOVE).  It was fun to make but it did take forever to wrap the yarn around it.

Taking Orders

I will be taking a few more orders between now and the end of November.
If you are interested please email me for info.  Your project will not be added to my list until full payment is received.

I am working on new policies/procedures and some changes are coming!
Stay tuned...

Blakely

I finally finished my newborn daughters canvas.  She is now almost 3 weeks old!
Better late than never right?

I can't take credit for the design/template idea.  I owe the inspiration to Kim Wheeler.  I absolutely LOVE all of her art and I aspire to be that good someday.

Taylor-last order for a while!

I just finished these 2 large canvases for a friend who is due with her baby girl in October.  I can't wait to see them in place!

 24x48
incorporated some of the bedding fabric

I will be posting some photos of my baby girls nursery and the artwork for it, when/if I get it done :)

Nursery Abstract

New client Natalie is due in August with a little boy, just a few days before me.  She found an abstract she liked and wanted me to do something similar with her nursery colors and add the monogram in the middle.
This 30x40 will go above the crib.  I love how it turned out.  So different!

Antique Car-canvas reproduction

This is my first attempt at painting an antique car. I think it turned out well.
My friend wanted this for her little boy's nursery and she is due the same day as I am!
I hope she likes it!

Adeline

New client Haley contacted me early this summer. She is a referral from a good friend.  I love referrals!
She has cute nursery done in pink and brown polka dots, but wanted to break up the pink and brown a bit. She wanted something similar to what i had done in the past.
I'm finally finished and shipped it out today!
The pink and brown pattern around her name is the same pattern she has in her rug.
She also requested some canvas initial letters to match.
I hope she enjoys them!

By the way I am now working on my last two orders until October.  Woohoo!
